So, following the same lineup process, elections will be held this year from 11th February to 8th March 2017. This time, the ruling party has forged an alliance with the Congress Party. Previously, the Congress Party declared Sheila Dixit as the candidate for the post of Chief Minister but then withdrew her application after forming the alliance with the ruling party. The First Phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017 which commenced at Feb 11 has already completed and the second phase which started on 15th February also completed. The second phase followed the third which commenced 19 February and voting for the fourth and fifth stage would be done on 23 and 27 February Respectively. Following the same lineup process, 7th and 8th phase will be held on March 4 and March 8 respectively.
In the previous elections, the ruling party defeated the BSP Party with 224 seats in the house of 403 seats, thus forming a clear majority. So, Now after dislodging the SP Supremo Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav from the Party, the Son is leading the party and trying to maintain communal forces at bay to avoid nuisance.

UP Elections 2017 Results
The voting phase of UP Elections will continue till March 8. After the polling process completes, the election commission will forward this process to the counting level.
